Misted glass replacement

Condensation sitting between the panes means the seal on the unit has gone. It cannot be cleaned out, because the water is on the inside faces of the glass. We measure the failed unit, order a new one, and fit it into the frame you already have.

A-rated energy saving glass

While the glass is coming out anyway, it costs very little more to put something better back in. A-rated units use Planitherm low emission glass, argon gas and a thermal spacer bar, so more of the heat you pay for stays in the room.

Why replace just the glass unit instead of the whole window?

A double glazed window is really two things: the frame, and the sealed glass unit that sits inside it. When your windows mist up, it is almost always the sealed unit that has failed. The frame is usually in perfectly good order. Replacing only the part that has failed is quicker, tidier and a lot cheaper.

    We measure the failed unit accurately and order your new Kite marked sealed unit, in plain, leaded, Georgian or stained glass, or A-rated energy saving glass.

    We fit and clear up

    The old unit comes out and the new one goes into your existing frame. No mess installation, and no deposit is taken at any point.

    You are covered for 10 years

    Every glass replacement carries our 10 year guarantee. Settle up on completion, cards welcome.
